Blackwater-Spruce Ranch: Adventure Trips:

Cattledrives

Cattle drives are done with the Dunn ranch prime BC interior cattle. Be part of this exciting event as one of the crew and help move our cattle out to open range. This area has been the setting for the books “Nothing too good for a cowboy” by Rich Hobson Jr. This is the area of some of the earliest cattlemen in this region, most notably Panhandle Philips.

SPRING CATTLE DRIVE: MAY 19 TO 21 2012

FALL CATTLE DRIVE: AUG 31, SEPT 1, 2 2012

On the Fall Cattle Drives you will always return to the ranch to the comforts of homecooked meals, campfires and a warm, cozy cabin.

We always have a wagon along for gear, water and such, lots of room to sit if you need a break from your horse. At the ranch we will have another great meal and campfire entertainment, for those who wish to leave on this night you may do so. However you may stay the night and leave after an early morning breakfast.

For those that wish to bring a tent for a real camping experience please do so, lots of our guests do this.
